Orly Torrid and Gingerbread Disaster

Good morning, dear readers!

Today I have a manicure using Orly's Torrid, which is from their 2012 Naughty or Nice collection.  It is a beautiful metallic red, which reminds me of Christmas tree ornaments.

Here is Torrid with China Glaze Ring in the Red and O.P.I's Pirouette My Whistle on the ring and thumb nails:

Also, my sister and I tried to construct a gingerbread house the day before last, and it fell apart while we were working on it.  :(

XD!!  But it was still fun ^-^.  Better luck next year, I guess!

Have a wonderful day! : D

  1. Beautiful reds, Ash! I like that Torrid is nicely metallic but not all streaky or pale...and now that I think about it, I might actually have it in my untrieds! Unexpected score!

And aw, no, the poor gingerbread dudes! I was always nervous building gingerbread houses for just that reason--I did better with the pre-fab ones I could just glom a bunch of candies on and call it art. ;P

  3. Aw! It looks like it was shaping up to be a great gingerbread house before the collapse! I've never built one... I'd probably just eat all the candy and icing while my husband fiddled with the gingerbread slabs!

  7. Awww, your gingerbread house was so cute. I'm sorry it didn't want to stay in one piece for you guys. I'm sure it was just as tasty either way though. :)

Gorgeous shade of red. Very classy - and classic - and oh-so-marvelous for the holiday season.
